These are two topics I've been meaning to talk about for a while. First, this [Edit: confirmed false] 'DA3 reveal trailer' on Youtube
www.youtube.com/watch?v=4XVSFA… which made so little sense that the only conclusion I could draw is that someone was drunk and decided to toy with fans. Still, I wanted to say two things on this video:
1) Baby Luke Skywalker cameo was funny
2) If Dragon Age: Origins was exactly that and Dragon Age II was Dragon Effect: At the Speed of Blight, then from the uncanny Assassin's Creed feel of that video, DA3 would have either be Dragon's Creed of Assassin's Age. Which do you prefer?
Now, onto ME3. When I finished the game about a month ago, I did actually write up my thoughts but I won't bore and/or spoil you with them. Pretty much, the rest of the game other than the ending is awesome (except for multiplayer
) and there is a scary amount of evidence in favour of the Indoctrination Theory. Honestly, though, I predict another VS DLC vs. Arrival fiasco.
If the IT is true, then I'll hail Bioware as one of the greatest – and certainly the most ambitious – studios in the world. But we'll find out for sure when the Extended Cut is released. And if they pull of DA3 and put cameos of our beloved Wardens and Hawkes with their respective LIs, I'll never doubt Bioware again.
